Arrowsmith Malbec 2021 - Bottle
This fruit was sourced from the celebrated Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA, and grown on the Tommy Town Thoroughbreds farm. We took all the fruit from a tiny block just behind the house on this property, right at the northern edge of the farm. 2022 was the last year that this block produced Malbec, as it was grafted to Sauvignon Blanc in 2023, so enjoy this gorgous wine while you can! This is California Malbec at its absolute best, and one of the only single varietal Malbecs in the entire Santa Ynez Valley.
Tasting notes
Rich, red fruit flavors of redcurrant and cherry, with subtle plum notes. Gentle acidity and modest tannins provide refined balance to the wine, with excellent potential for cellaring.
