This one is smooth, silky and dangerously drinkable. It delivers lush, dark-berry fruit with a little spice, and lingering dark chocolate on the palate. Tannins are gentle, acidity is in perfect balance, and it can be either enjoyed on its own or with food. Again, we recommend serving it with the rich tomato-based sauces of Italian food, but for maximum indulgence try it with dessert, pairing it with dark chocolate truffles.
