This warm climate white wine speaks of the sunlight and warmth of California's Central Coast.  Its bright lychee and tart tropical fruits are balanced by its acidity on the mid-palate, tailed by a lingering apricot finish.  This clean, crisp white wine is aged in stainless steel to showcase the bright fruit and natural acidity of Pinot Grigio.

Arrowsmith, 2020 Petite Sirah (Petite Syrah – Santa Barbara, California) Vegan 

THEY SAY: The long, hot summer of 2020 gave us perfect Tommy Town fruit again, the result was a wine with the deep, dark berry flavors for which Petite Sirah is renowned. Reminiscent of home-cooked blackberry pie, or the slow-cooked berry confitures of Southern France, this is a rich, full and intense wine. Acidity and tannins are gentle and well balanced, and the wine exhibits subtle licorice notes.

WE SAY: Very deep, very dark, very lovely.

The Santa Maria Valley’s cool breezes and foggy mornings provide the perfect conditions for Chardonnay to thrive. This wine exemplifies this, with a fresh taste that is all its own. It is light and refined, in a style more comonly associated with Chablis in France's Loire Valley. 

Spring 2020 brought lockdowns and heavy rain, followed by a long hot Summer. Our vines thrived, producing beautiful fruits that was ripened by some of the highest temperatures ever recorded in this region. Blackcurrant and black cherry notes, a touch of spice, and gentle tannins make this a versatile and easy drinking red Bordeaux blend.

Bava, Bass Tuba Moscato D'Asti 2020 (Moscato - Piemonte, Italy)                

THEY SAY: The bouquet on the nose is aromatic, delicate and fragrant with notes of citrus, apricot, fig and orange blossom. On the palate it is delicately sparkling, pleasantly sweet, yet mild with a rich Moscato flavor.

WE SAY: A sweet white that manages to stay clear of being clingy, an enjoyable holiday in the mouth even for those who normally would choose a drier wine.

Broadbent White Porto Malvasia Fina, Códega, Rabigato, Gouveio - Portugal  

THEY SAY: Golden color with a very good nose and honey aromas. Palate is sweet and nutty. 

WE SAY: Bring on the white port! The drink that us Brits drank so much of in the 1990’s. If you haven’t 

tried white port, it’s time to!

The Cuvée Brut stands as the emblematic signature of the House. Visually, it presents a golden color complemented by fine bubbles. Canard-Duchêne (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier - Champagne, France Vegan  

THEY SAY: Intense aromas of fresh fruit, typical of Pinot varietals. Eye: A golden hue and delicate bubbles. Palate: Notes of fruit coupled with hints of buttery brioche. Fresh intensity & noble character, with aromas of fresh red berries, crisp apples & pears, a touch of smoke and buttery brioche. .

WE SAY: A lovely, easy drinking, classic Champagne, not too yeasty for once!         Decanter 91 Points

Chapel Down Brut (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier & Pinot Blanc – England)

THEY SAY: Chapel Down Brut NV is a classic example of quality English sparkling wine with aromas of red apple, citrus fruits and freshly baked bread together with hints of strawberry and quince on the palate and fine persistent bubbles.

WE SAY: Just as good as any Champagne if not better, just half the price. Don’t miss it, England is on the up!

Planeta Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2019 (Dorilli, Sicily - Nero d’Avola, Frappato)

THEY SAY: The name of the only Sicilian DOCG derives of ‘cerasa’, cherry in Sicilian dialect. Aromas of cherry, strawberry and pomegranate. A wine in the wake of an ancient tradition, but with a youthful manner like no other Sicilian red wine.      

WE SAY: We rarely like wines from the Italian region but this one has some lovely fruity touches and not too much earthy notes or high tannins. Plus, we honeymooned in sicily!

The Dom Jacques Girardin Santenay Clo Rousseau 2019, a Premier Cru Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir, features a deep garnet color and aromas of ripe black currants and red plums. It offers a layered texture, ripe tannins, and a round, satisfying finish, making it an ideal pairing with food. With an aging potential of 8 to 10 years, this wine stands out for its accessible yet richly structured style.

Classic aromas of blackberry, juicy cassis, ripe plum, hints of toasted oak, violets and cocoa.

Integrated flavors of ripe black berry, dark-roasted coffee and chocolate, integrated with fine tannins and a

long, fruit-filled finish.

Domaine Dozon Clos Du Saut Au Loup, 2020 (Cabernet Franc – Chinon, France)            

THEY SAY: Vibrant purple color. Traditional notes of plum skin, raspberries and capsicum abound. Manageable tannins and herbal notes underscore a direct fruitiness.

WE SAY: Tim can’t stop talking about this wine, he is crazy for it. I like t too, but he just won’t shut up about it. A subtle, beautiful alternative to Cabernet Sauvignon.

A real favorite of ours: a delicate rose petal pink in colour with a fine prolonged mousse, lemon sherbet on the nose with hints of blackcurrant, rosehip and wild strawberry on the palate.

Domaine Dyckerhoff, 2019 (Petit Gris Rose – Reuilly, Loire, France)

THEY SAY: Pale salmon color, fruity nose. Great length and freshness in the palate with flavors of wild strawberries, peach skin and mineral.

WE SAY: A deliciously soft rose, done in the subtle way only the French can. Lovely!
